OPERATIONS MANAGER

Laura joined 8th & Main in June 2024, bringing a strong technical foundation and a genuine passion for construction. Originally from Colombia, she earned her degree in Civil Engineering from the Catholic University of Colombia in Bogotá and later completed a specialization in Project Management.

Her love for construction began early, inspired by her father, a lifelong builder and developed through years spent around job sites. Before joining 8th & Main, Laura worked on large-scale projects such as La Salle City Megaproject (123 acres), Altamira Towers (Residential RC Frame, 352 units, 157,000 sq. ft.), and Urbanism Tocancipá, a major infrastructure development including hydraulic, electrical, and road systems. She also led industrial projects for General Motors, including the expansion of a 32,000 sq. ft. spare parts warehouse, a 5,200 sq. ft. post office, and road maintenance of over 1,180 linear feet.

Known for her warmth, professionalism, and drive to excel, Laura combines technical precision with people-centered leadership. Outside of work, she enjoys running, basketball, and spending time with her family values she proudly carries into everything she does at 8th & Main.
