  • Design + build combines the design and build functions of your project under one roof and allows for a unified flow of work from concept to completion. Design + build means that we guide you every step of the way - from initial design to construction management to the final details.

  • We will build within one hour of our office in Midlothian, Texas. Most of our work has been in Ellis and Johnson Counties. CLICK HERE for our primary service area map.

  • Every custom home project is unique, with design, materials and labor costs. Other costs that must be factored are price of the lot, off-site and on-site utilities, driveways, etc. Most of our custom homes fall into the $200-$250 per square foot range, which does not include the land.

  • We are able to use house plans you have already selected. We also offer full architectural design services from concept to completion. We can ensure your design will fit into your budget if we walk with you through the full design process.

  • Most custom home builds are completed within 8-12 months. Size, complexity, location, and site conditions can majorly affect your custom home build timeline. Very large, complex homes can usually be built within a year and a half. Weather events can impact the overall construction timeline of your project.

  • We would like to know your budget so we can advise you on what would be a financially viable project for you. We are able to see the cost implications of architectural features, which will help you determine the “must haves” for your custom home.

  • We utilize a construction management software called BuilderTrend. Most of the communication during the process will be through BuilderTrend. Clients can login in HERE through the BuilderTrend website or download the BuilderTrend app.

  • Should you wish to change something during the process, we are more than happy to accommodate your request! You will be able to submit a change order request on your online client portal within BuilderTrend. We will review your changes and present you with a fixed price for your approval. Upon your approval, we will move forward with any changes.
